Hotbird & Astra2
My Location
South East England
This is what I have in my Samsung 9500 VIA CI receiver:
Loader Version 703
Main Software Version 135
Hardware Version 515

Is it possible to upgrade EMU?

I am just wondering: Am I stuck with this new receiver? Is it useless?



After going in circles, I got following answers:



“Sorry you can’t upgrade emu in your receiver”



“Samsung receiver with loader 703 can not be upgraded, only the old series with loader version 500 or 501 can be done but they stopped producing these”



I believe there are many genius members in this forum who can direct me to keep this receiver going….

It cant be done mate,you have to downgrade the loader to version 500 or 501,to do that you must use Jtag.

Nice one mate - I'll thank you on his behalf. There was something about 501 on the above site, but in Dutch !
