Hello all. Just bought a samsung hd lcd, was going to buy a samsung HDD DVD recorder to allow recording easily....but read some reviews and they seemed to be problematic with freezing picture on playback and very slow and unresponsive buttons.

Anyone give me some good advice regarding them?...really want a samsung one so I can use the tv remote to work both....but don't want a duffer:-DOH2...any advice appreciated

If you are viewing from satellite why not buy a dreambox receiver.
Only one box to programme for all your recording needs.
