samsung vortec vs-9800 upgrade

hi folks, i have been searching for s/w /driver software for a samsung vortec vs-9800 ci receiver, ive tried samsung but they dont seem too helpful, i currently have s/w sci 1.00.16, driver 1.01.45, i guess there out of date because my new card isnt being recognised by the reciever it just says insert card, i found some humax software , do u think that would work?

If your probelm is simply that the receiver is not recognising the card, then we must first eliminate a host of other more likely causes before considering that the firmware of the receiver may be at fault.

Most such problems arise with the card or CAM (or combination).
So -
- what ewrror message are you getting exactly?
- which encryption system are you attempting to decode?
- what kind of CAM are you using? Is it original or reprogrammed?
- whct kind of card? Pirate (wafer/etc) or official?
- if a pirate card, what software is on there, and when did you last reprogram it?
- if official, which provider issued it?

thanks for replying, ive been trying various files from the net for a goldcard to receive viaccess, so i guess i should post a question in the viaccess forum
 
yes, post the issue there.
Note: not all hacks work with all receivers.

Please advice/guide me about how the receiver/fun cards/gold cards programmed through pc and please let me know updating vortec 9800 ci plus in detail as early as possible.

hello
i am using sanyosat ultra 9000. can somebody help me with the upgrades pliz. i live in botswana and all sabc channels a scrumbled. the code edit menu has also disappeared how do i get it back to make nagravission code edit easy? you help is highly appreciated. pdmash.

SABC is now using Nagra 3 encryption, and is secure. The only way to watch it is with a proper subscription.
