Children throughout the world will be in mourning following a horrific pile-up on the M1 early today involving 2 buses, 3 cars, a sleigh and several reindeer.
In the early hours of this morning, Santa's sleigh made a forced landing on the M1 near Luton, causing a horrific pile-up and killing Santa and several reindeer. Emergency vehicles, and a vet were soon on the scene but sadly, Santa had passed away and several reindeer put down and sold to M&S for venison sandwiches so now it's not just Christmas food, it's M&S REAL christmas food.

'Smell of alcohol'

Several eye witnesses told how they saw Santa's sleigh veer out of control as he apparently tried to open a bottle of vodka with one hand and let the reins slip through his fingers. The reindeer tripped over one another and fell from the sky into the fast lane of the northbound M1.

One eye witness who was quickly on the scene said there was a strong smell of alcohol from Santa. Police would not comment on this, nor confirm that a small quantity of Moroccan cannabis had been found hidden in Santa's beard, together with a packet of Rizla.

'Disgusted'

The senior police officer on the scene was said to have been disgusted by motorists looting the sleigh and nicking the kids presents. But he offered to pay £100 for a Wii if anyone happened to find one in the wreckage.

Parents face tough time

Parents will now have to tell their children that Santa has snuffed it before Christmas day. 'We need help with this' said one parent. The government should put out a Public Service Announcement.

PM Gordon Brown has said that there will be no assistance. If people believed that the Labour Party was legitimate, then they would have no trouble believing that Santa was still alive and kicking and would tell their kids that it would be business as usual on Christmas morning. Mr. Brown also said he had asked for a Star Wars light sabre and was fully expecting it to be in his stocking when Christmas day dawned.
