If your dish is fixed then you will only be getting the Hotbird sats at 13e.
It should/will look something like this.

cleared all channels bar hotbird and got this. i take it its pretty poor

Put this in C:\ProgDvb\transponders folder (change name to 0130.ini first)
and try again. Hopefully this file is different to the one in there at the moment

now up to this just on hotbird but if i scan others i get more, before i managed to get signal from thor2/3

This is getting confusing, are you moving the dish to other satellites when you scan them, or are you just set on one and then selecting the other satellites in ProgDVB?

just set on one (hopefully hotbird 13e or there abouts) then selecting other sats in progdvb

Don't do that, you are only making a list of channels which will never work when you finally get it motorised. Just scan on the satellite you are pointed at.

Ah - thats it then.
If you are pointing the dish at 13E then that is what you get.
At the moment, the software is thinking you are somewhere else so the upshot will be that you have all the channels you can get at the moment BUT you will have lots of the same ones but listed under different satellites.

Does that make any sense ??

but i was getting signals isnt that the name of the game, anyway what makes you think i'll end up going motorised in the future (your right of cause like lancelot has said before welcome to the dark side)
question: is man city against blackburn showing FTA on sat some on hotbird or have i only got 5days to learn about encription, don't answer i already know looks like another long head scratching week.
