Satellite and Motor settings

My Satellite Setup
Dreambox 7020, CM 1.2 with invacom quad c120 & channelmaster feedhorn.
My Location
Belfast, Northern Ireland
I have a job next week which I am dreading. It's a DB 8000 and he wants me to flash a new image onto it.
How easy is it to pull his extensive satellite and motor settings off the box before the reflash?:-worship

What folder are they kept in?

I have tryed a usb stick but I just get error messages.

Can this box still be flashed with Null modem cable and the Dreamup utility?
 
Use DreamBoxEdit to save all the settings (make sure Enigma2 is selected in options)
Depends which secondstage loader is already on the DM8k.
Latest version is 76. If I remember correctly, anything greater than 73, the you can use the webinterface to flash.
From a web browser, select the ip add. of the DM and you will get a screen - where you can re-flash the box from.
