Satellite DAB and non-DAB radios

My Satellite Setup
CM 2.4m motorised offset dish, Viking Ku-band 2-ports motorised feed, 2 SMW LNBs, RC2000A, Dreambox DM920.

Reading discussions here about satellite DAB+ radios, I would like to try something, but I have no linux skill so I'm looking for something simpler and easier to use.

It seems a professional device, but I do not understand what exactly it does. Is it only a converter to supply terrestrial DAB+ transmitters? Or can be used to play the satellite DAB+ streams in such way?
Also, what about very low symbol rate, non-DAB radios? Which receivers are used by the broadcasters? It seems that 2wcom builds more audio receivers with analog outs too, but they get symbol rate values not lower than 1000, so I think they are not compatible with signals having SR of 100, 200 or similar.
Any informations about this topic is very appreciated. Thanks.

As far as I'm aware, these kinds of devices would output raw ETI (for DAB/+) or decoded audio (for MP2/AAC radios) suitable for input to a transmitter. They're likely to be very expensive as well as not providing you with data in a more "user friendly" format anyway.

You'd be better getting something like a Raspberry Pi and learning some Linux if you'd like to hear the stations. It does take some effort, but the software available is great. The satellite DAB decoder eti-tools software is fairly easy to build, and the dablin DAB player is available pre-built anyway, so only requires one command to install.

Assuming you're italian, i made a step by step guide in a well known italian forum to listen to the DAB stations with a PC.
You only need a PC card, and a PC with windows and a virtual linux image using VM virtual box. it's easy as ABC
 
Yes I'm italian, but english would be not a problem.
My problem is linux, that's all.
Anyway, I suspected that those receivers are not user friendly and do not provide useful decoded audio for DAB+ satellite broadcasting.
And.... yes, they are expensive. Thanks.

It was a thread, but perhaps better in a dedicated section once somebody takes the plunge on equipment ( or there is a poll....)
