Hi,

In connection with a recent purchase of 1388MHz Simple Specturm Analyser unit I need to use the LNB Loop Out from a satellite receiver. However, I am not sure how the LNB Loop Out actually works when the satellite receiver is in its various modes.

Would anyone please be able to advise me how the LNB Loop Out works in the situations I have listed below?

1. If the receiver is in standby mode are both polarity signals available via the LNB Loop Out?
2. If the receiver is in blind scan mode or any other scan mode what signals are available via the LNB Loop Out?
3. If the receiver is in operational mode providing a picture from a horizontal polarity signal to a TV, what signals are available via the LNB Loop Out?

Thx

Hi MB,

1. Both are available.
2. The band that the receiver is blind scanning at the time will only be available at the loop out.
3. Whatever the band the receiver is showing will only be available to the loop out.

Hope this helps.
