Two points.

1) Germany is a big country and you need to narrow to a region at least.

2) You would probably need one of our members who lives in germany to reply as they might have personal experience. This could be difficult.

actually my friend in vienna he buy for me a satellite receiver but he have no knowledge of satellite equipment and not know any shop of sat equipment.

Did you realise that HM Sat ship worldwide? To India would be €30 plus about 4% of the goods. Surely that's easier than asking your friend to track down a shop, go there and purchase, then buy packaging and post it off to you?

Nothing wrong with Online shopping - at least to any greater extent than there is when dealing with a physical shop.

sonnetpete wasn't suggesting that your friend do the shopping online but that you do it yourself and get the items sent to India. Unless your friend is offering to pay for everything as a gift I can't see why you are so insistant on a physical shop.

I would have thought that if anyone was going to respond with the name of a shop in Germany they would have done it by now. Perhaps if you were to post in the German section of this site (but it would have to be in German) you might get a response but I really think you need to look for some German language satellite forums.

The fact is that a large percentage of satellite reception equipment suppliers (and not just in Germany) don't have a 'shop'. They operate from an office, receiving orders via telephone and internet which are then fulfilled and despatched from a warehouse. Such is the way of retail business in this internet age. If you are insistent on locating a physical retail outlet, perhaps you should look at a German language satellite equipment shop, familiarise yourself with a few keywords in German and search on something like Google.de.

Why Germany? Surely you can get satellite receivers in India. Your own country will be far far cheaper as well.

Vienna is in Austria...

Here in Germany you can get satellite stuff at big stores called "Mediamarkt" or "Saturn". However do expect to pay a higher price than online. Most stuff is a lot cheaper online, also you won't get many special models like Dreamboxes in every "physical" shop.
for buying satellite stuff (and most other electronic entertainment stuff for that matter) online shops are a must. Price differences can be huge...

I don't know about any other German stores as I have only dealt with HM Sat but they don't do cash on delivery to India. They will allow you to purchase via Pay Pal if you have an account? Are you absolutely sure there are no reputable dealers selling genuine dreambox or vu+ receivers in India?
