What sorts of areas are you interested in? The satellite tv hobby has numerous branches, some more popular than others.

IM not sure there are any books as such - most of us just pick things up as we go along. However you have found the forum, and that has got more knowledge about the subject on it than any book will ever have

Good reference book . I have had it for many years. Some of it is a bit dated now but the theory hasn't changed.
