Hello all, can anybody help me please. I have just bought one of these to help set up an odd dish now and then, I got a booklet with it that shows you a how to set it up. It doesn't really mention about when you go to set the dish up, do you set it roughly then move it around till you pick up signal? Sorry if this seems a silly question but I can't see anything about what to do.

If you are West of London you cant put a minus figure in for your altazimuth setting on your dish set up. The meter wont let you enter a minus figure and worst of all you cant subract it from 360 and enter it as an Easterly setting as it wont accept anything over 180 degrees. My location here being 01.04W. Useful meter, check out my thread below sometime...
