Hi all. i am trying to charge my satlook micro G2 and the charger i thought was the right one isnt doing jack! no lights no nothing.

The charger i thought was correct has an output value of 13.8v 3000mA 50-60Hz 1.5A

Can someone tell me the correct values so i can find a new charger, this one is clearly wrong!

Thanks fellas

Emiter had to send me a new mains charger from Sweden, as the one supplied with my new Micro G2 "blew up" after I first plugged it in. The replacement was a different model to the original.
Hope that helps

Model PS481BD1Y3000S
OUTPUT 13.8V 3000mA

Thanks mate thats a massive help. how did you go about getting yours changed? i have just emailed them but i know they are overseas so these things can take time.... lots of time! plus i cant find my car charger to test it to confirm that the charger is the fault and not the meter.

Thanks again for that mate, really appreciate it.

You have to verify the positive of the charger is the centre pin.

Using an incorrect charger will almost certainly damage the battery inside.

I sent an email to Emitor's Sales Engineer because my meter was new and had only just arrived from a supplier in Germany. He told me that Emitor would replace the faulty power unit directly when I emailed him about the problem. So I followed that up with an email to Emitor and sent the photo of the damaged unit and a copy of the invoice - just to be sure!!

Their Sales Engineer telephoned me within minutes and said he would post a new power supply to me. It arrived just under a week later. I found Emitor to be very helpful.
This is where I found their email addresses (I picked a English speaker)., but you probably have this link.
