What it wrong with that Jaeger SMR-128G rotor , I like a H2H rotor more than polarmount with actuator .
Today I opened the Edon again and checked the elco's by soldering them out and messured it .
I put one one (220u 35V) by accident the wrong way back , by powering up the box it started to wisthle and smoke came out .
After renewing the blown elco I made a lot ( ± 15 min. ) of testruns between 42º E and 12º W and some positions between .
All the time the was no sign of L< or L> in the display .

There seems to be an issue with the Jaegger where, for example, I would align the motor/dish to 0.8w and would get 16.8db and then move it to 34.5w and then back to 0.8w and it would go down to 11db and all of the sats in between would get dealigned in the process.

this is the same issue i get - it overshoots position cos its too quick for its own good. however, im not that fussed anymore as its now a backup dish - i would stick with the H-H SMR though, a tidier solution than polar mount. from your pictures, your nut position is wildly different to mine when it was spot on .

check out dish angle nut position (and your not far from me)
