I have a second subscription with SKY.
What I'd like to know is, can I take the second subscription box over to another house which has got a Sky Digital dish, a receiver and basic subscription. Unplug that box and remove it and then plug my second subscription box in and watch Sky with my full subscription card?
If no, why not?

Yes you can.

The only qualifier would be if you were taking it away for a long period (more than a few weeks) and the subscription was a discounted mirror subscription which requires a phone connection.

Thanks rolf, I took it to my mum's last night and can confirm it worked fine.
