see tv on pc with a dreambox

Hello all,

can someone say if it's possible with a conection PC - ROUTER - TV to watch tv from my pc ?

As far as I no, I can watch any file or dvd from my pc into the dream, and what about the opposite ?

Yes, you can use Firefox (with VLC plugin) or Daftgrab.

If your Dreambox IP is 10.0.0.5 then in Firefox use that IP address in the address bar.

The VLC plugin should be installed on the dreambox, it isn't ? Or is sufficient to have VLC mediaplayer installed on the PC ?

Install VideoLan on your PC. vlc isn't needed on the Dreambox.

I think you need to tick the "vlc active plugin" when you first use Firefox to view the Dreambox stream- it may mention it in the Guide (I can't remember). Try it and see.
