Serial link problem and short planner

I have just set up a sky+ box in La Marina, costa blanca and after I changed the default transponder to 12207, all the channels popped up, great I thought. Now I can set the serial link for lost etc only to find it says it cannot find the series link please try later. I did this over the last few days with no luck, also the planner will only give me about 8-10 hours in advance. I have done a planner rebuild but no difference. Also, when I do a signal check, it displays a better signal on 2 than 1. Any help will be appreciated. Cheers
