Coverage map of NSS-6 and SES 12. It's good to know what to expect when SES 12 will be operational.Good signal in my area on NSS-6 taking into account that satellite elevation is at 4.16 °.Although the maps seem identical on this spot, I'm afraid the signal will be weaker in my area?!I hope I'm wrong.

The signal on NSS-6 in my area before the satellite to be replaced with SES-12.I hope after the change it is as strong as before

SES-12 has the same Eurostar-3000EOR (Electric Orbit Raising) bus as SES-14.
So GEO will be reached early 2019 I guess.

In-orbit test location will be 81.5°E.

The TT&C beacon on 11703.5MHz appears to be circular polarisation but I could not see the other one on 11499.5. The plot was captured when it was on its fast downward trajectory (118Az, 18El), viewed from UK. It was at about 14000km range and there was about 130kHz doppler shift.
