Alright guys.....Finally ordered the Technomate TM5400 CI USB +

Im going to set up and install my set up over the weekend.

In all this is what i have on order..

Under Window Cable
30m Coaxial Cable
Wall Mount (U bend)
Silver Tech 0.2dB Twin LNB
Technomate TM5400 CI USB +

Firstly, is there anything else i need ? (i already have a dish) - any particular tools i need ?

Secondly, i would like to pick up a satellite that has footie, mature content, and a few other bits and bobs, nothing inparticular, but just a satallite that has alot of channels.

As this is my first set up , its just experimental. once im confident i'll then mess about with other Sats...

Therefore which Sat shall i go for ? ? and how do i go about getting that particular satellite ??

Thanks alot guys.

Maybe your first system but bung a motor on your 1m and your viewing options are greater. Can be easily achieved with the 'FREE' :) guides and helpful info here.

I'd say you'd be hard pressed to get a new one for that, £40 is a good price for a Moteck SG-2100, Its well worth the investment.

So called capital of Suffolk, UK.
I do not think that a 1m dish and motor should be fitted to a "U" bend wall bracket. I think that you will find the bracket flexes too much as the motor moves the dish. Hence the arc will not be tracked properly.
But that is my opinion, others might have different views.
