setting up eurobird 9 on Manhattan plaza st 550

I would greatly appreciate some advice from the experts in this forum

I have a motorized dish controlled by a 3 years old Manhattan Plaza St 550 digital receiver with a positioner.

It does not show Euro bird 9 on its satellite list [ It was originally Hotbird 2 I believe ].

I dont seem to be able to get Eurobird 9 into my system and the instructions manual was not easy to follow through, perhaps due to my poor knowledge.

Can some one advise me how to get the channels off Eurobird 9 into my receiver please?

You should be able to modify one of the satellite settings from one of the birds you cant get (eg one of the Asian slots)

Or failing that just add the extra frequencies onto Eutelsat W1 at 10E. Its close enough - 9E puts a HUGE signal into Europe..

I was playing around with Eutlsat w1 at 10E, when, to my surprise, I discovered that all of Eurobird 9 channels wre picked up!

So there would be no reason to get Eurobird 9 into my system.
