Are both the combo and DVB-S2 single models using the same firmware ?

I understand the combo was the first out of the stables, is it still a current model ?

Thanks in advance

Thanks. For the online searches the two models mentioned (I have not seen a twin S2 mentioned ) have similar pricing, so apart from the current consumption of the second tuner, are there any other advantages of purchasing the single tuner model ?

Is it a better tuner demod circuit (with regards to sensitivity or symbol rate range) ?

Hello

As you can see from the other thread the receiver purchased shortly after this thread developed a fault yesterday, a smell of plastic and/or semiconductor material and no front panel display.

It has been connected to a DiSeqC motor and 80cm dish on the roof, the receiver was in standby (I was out when the fault occurred).

What do you suggest next ?

Regards
