Today run two WF100 cables through loft. Cables run under quite a few electrical wires. Connected to quad LNB. Downstairs Sky HD lost signal 2 immediately. Upstairs connected to new cable had no signal. Powered down Sky box downstairs and signal started upstairs. Upstairs now has two signals on Input 1 and Input 2. Downstairs only has Signal on Input 1.

Firstly I thought the issue was with running cable under electrical wires. Now I wonder if it's the LNB?

Any ideas anyone.

Welcome to the forum :)

Cable kink/damage, poor termination at one end of one of the cables, lnb port problem - take your pick.

But yes certainly could be an lnb problem.

Its also good practise to avoid electrical cables where possible

Did you buy the cable from a reputable source ? There are plenty of horror stories of fake specification, drop ship issues and cable that has no transmission properties at all. Somewhere on this site there is a thread identifying cable made out of chewing gum foil.

WF100 does require a different type of F connector (and its fitting) for a secure termination.
