Signal angle and obstructions

Hi

I was wondering if anyone knows at what angle the signal comes in at towards my dish? I want to set my dish up in back garden rather than to the side of my property, I am hoping my garden is long enough for me to do this. I live in Birmingham UK.


I remember seeing an on line calculator years ago but can't seem to find it now.


Any help would be much appreciated.

And don't forget that your dish will probably have an offset LNB arm, so taht angle needs to be taken into account too:

eg If Dishpointer says elevation required is 24.2 deg and you have an LNB arm offset by 25 deg, then the dish face will be DOWN by 0.8 deg.

Mainly Astra 28.2 but I have a motorised system but judging from a previous reply I should be able to work out where is best to install the dish.
