My Satellite Setup
Triax TD54
Titanium twin LNB
WinTV-NOVA-HD-S2
Humax HDR
My Location
East Sussex, UK
I Have a Triax 54cm dish pointed at 28.2°E linked to a Humax HDR and WinTV-NOVA-HD-S2, I get a signal strength and quality of between 90% and 100% on all channels except channels on 10891 H which has a strength of 85% but no quality.

On good days if it set the LNB skew to 6 o'clock I can just about pick it up but the signal on all other channels drops.

Any Suggestions

Thanks

Matt

If you only have one of the receivers connected, does it work then?

I've tried each receiver on there own and same thing no quality only on 10891 H.

Could be many things but....

First can you try another LNB - maybe borrow one from a friend that is known good.

Cable or poor connector.

Are you sure that the receiver has the correct setting for the transponder 10891 H 22000 5/6.

I have even had a faulty Projector sending a voltage back to the receiver via the scart causing certain frequency loss - Earthing the chassis of the receiver fixed that one.

Let us know how you get on

In this post you indicate all channels are receivable except 10891H
Yet in this post you indicate no channels only on 10891

So which is it?.....

My guess is also a faulty lnb

I only have a problem with 10891 H, all other channels are fine.

I think you might be right about the LNB, I'll borrow another one and try that.

Thanks

This problem is sometimes caused by cable faults, often if two types of cable are joined, or if connecting via a wall plate connector.
It can also be a quirk in the LNB (unlikely) or a receiver blindness to this frequency (more likely)
