Hello

I have two twin-LNBs on a offset dish. One output from each LNB goes through two different diseqs to two receivers. I have a good quality on one receiver and very poor on another from both LNBs I checked cables, switched diseqs but the problem remains. I need to mention that two diseqs are not the same. One is quard and the other is twin. One LNB is Opticum and another is GT-SAT.
What am I doing wrong? Do I need some additional features enabled on receivers, 22kHZ or whatever? Maybe do I need a special diceq? I red somwhere that twin lnbs require a high isolation diseq!
Any suggestion?

Moved your post to a new thread :)

Sounds like a possible receiver or switch problem from your description. See if you can swap over the receivers to eliminate dish and DISEqC switches.

Is this a recent "fault"/ ie Has this arrangement ever worked successfully?

Have you swopped the Receivers over to see if the problem shifts with the Receiver or if it remains at the same Position?

Edit: I see SM has had three Weetabix this morning!

It never worked if I remember well. I have swopped receivers also and the problem swopped also from one to another receiver.

Check downlead, connections and the DISEqC switch.

Even if the cable appears undamaged and free of water ingress, is it possible that it isn't actually decent quality double-screened cable suitable for Satellite use?

I mean, heaven forbid that anyone would inadvertently use a lump of old UHF TV co-ax! ;)
