Hi guys, just finished my first install and posted pics in the picture thread. I just want someone to confirm that these are the right sort of figures I should be getting from my setup.

Astra 3A/3B Quality 2%
Astra 2A/2D Quality 88%
EuroBird 1 28.5E Quality 54%

Anything Further East I Just get 2% Quality

Can someone just confirm or deny that this is what I should be getting for my setup? Many thanks.
 
Not easy to say for sure as they are characteristic of your entire system: Not just the individual characteristics of the LNB, the cable and the receiver but also of all the system components taken together.

Only really useful for local optimisation.


However, there are one or two obvious discrepancies eg AB1 should be an easy catch, so maybe you just haven't found an active TP. Astra 3 has some very strong TPs (Mainly carrying Dutch stuff) as well.

And. of course, by extension you may not be using the strongest TPs on any of your Satellites: The strength/quality will be Beam and TP dependant.
