Simpleton Advice needed please

I am new to Sat TV we have a house with 2.4M dish with Sharp single LNB with feedhorn in Altea Costa Blanca. BBC2. ITV1, C4 and C5 programs progressively dissappear by about 4pm. Leaving only BBC1 and CBS etc until around 11pm when everything more or less goes. The dish is about 30 meters from the house. Can anyone please help me with the following?

1) Why do the channels dissappear and is this fixable?
2) If I upgrade to a Quad LNB which is best Invacom or Inverto?
3) Will upgrading the LNB help?

Any advise would be very much appreciated.

Have a quick read in the relevant sections in the forum, the answers are there.

Could be several factors causing your symptoms but in general dish alignment, LNb etc are the first places to look.

Even then note some channels will not be available 24/7 eg BBc2, 3, 4 etc due to the weakness of 2d horizontal beam in that region.

I would take a guess that the 2.4m dish is a Fortecstar. These are notoriously flimsy and difficult to set up. They underperform compared to what you would expect fom a 2.4m.

If it is a Fortecstar then adjustment may help but replacement might be only answer.
