I've never used this service but I believe people store their photos and videos on a Cloud Internet account.

Err, why??

I would never post my pics or host my private photos on any Cloud system.

I use an external hard drive. Have a backup drive in case that one fails.

Sorry, but Adele must be a bit stupid to put pictures of her kids on this Cloud thing and then is surprised when it's hacked and the pics 'stolen'.

What do others think? Thanks.

Adele has more than one child ?

Whoever this person is, they are probably no more or less wise to ethereal security as the next person.

But how lucky to have access to enough grazing to keep livestock.

I don't really trust Cloud stuff and even though I am forced to sign up for it, I don't use it.

Dropbox is about the only thing I do use for temporarily storing files and not as a backup mechanism. Have external drives/NAS for that. But then, most non-techies wouldn't bother with that.

^^ As I said I wouldn't touch Cloud with a barge pole. It's a pity Adele has such poor knowledge when it comes to computers and storage of files.

Is this the person who spurned your advances as per your other recent Thread?

I personally never use cloud services for anything, photos, files nothing, not even microsoft onedrive

People should be able to use these services without having to worry about the provider being hacked or whatever, but high profile people such as Adele in this case should really have thought better of it or been advised better

And not only her. There has been an iCloud hacking scandal last year or so, to the delight of many, many men.... And, no doubt, some women.

Ah, the fappening...

Can I just add my name to the growing list of Cloud Haters..
I have not and will not EVER use it ..
Its my data ..and it resides behind firewalls at home..

Hardly. But to be honest I think Adele is a very attractive woman. I love her curves. Her face is awesome too. She makes me melt at the knees. :)

I use cloud based storage but only for content that I don't care if it's read or deleted, like most of my photos which I eventually upload to flickr and instagram for public viewing anyway.

I've got a loft crammed full of punched cards.

And I really wish SWMBO wouldn't use the paper tape as Christmas decorations.

Much the same feeling if you picked her up.

You may hate and dislike the clouds but You better get used to it.
It will soon take over the system, everything will be held up there.
Soon it will be cloud computers on sale, cheap as sh!t with no hd, only a wifi system

Remember You saw it first here !

No worries. I have been stockpiling Wax Cylinders.

From what I heard about the data misappropriation from cloud storage, it was not achieved by hacking, but by celebrities using very guessable passwords, similar to the phone message "hacking" scandal by the newspapers.

I only keep music on cloud storage, with the exception of a few bits and pieces on Dropbox, although my apple cloud is protected with two step login, so if accessed from a new device, there is a code number sent to my mobile.
