Sir Terry Pratchett dies at 66

Very sad, loved Discworld, a brilliant satire from a very funny man. RIP Terry.
 
Well not a shock in terms of its eventuality as a result of his condition but still a shock at how suddenly it's happened.

RIP Terry.
 
I enjoyed the Discworld series too.
 
A great loss to literature ...and humanity in general..
Not unexpected ...nonetheless still a sad day.
I'm upset ...and I know my brother will be too..
Both of us got great enjoyment from his books ...and later ...the films and video games ..
I always wanted a sentient trunk with legs..

Ditto Pete, I used to read books when on a boring family holiday but I never really enjoyed reading books, happy to listen to them though, must try his stuff sometime perhaps I have ADS RIP Sir Terry
 
Desperately sad news yesterday afternoon - a brilliant & entertaining writer.
 
Never read any of his books but dementia is a horrible thing that rips lives apart.
