Will this new satellite up the power on the nordic beam (viasat channels) or will it still be very foucused on scandanavia. Used to be able to get viasat channels with a 90cm in the 90's, but now nout with a 1.1m O-no

Cheers mates,

Aha, thanks..

So any idea as to what dish size would be required for reception in North Wales? I've seen kingofsat but reports are vauge...

Kindest Regards, :)

Until the footprints are released any suggestions are just guesswork, so no.

I meant for the exisiting Sirius 2+3's Nordic beams..

Forget Sirius 3 - its very weak here in the Scottish Borders even on my 1m. The BSS beam on Sirius 2 should be easy enough, possibly the FSS beam if you have a decent dish.

I can manage 'some' of the Nordic beam stuff here AS, the LTV2 transponder on 11843 is the strongest if anyone down here needs to line up on something.

Will have to makedo with TV1000 on 1w

clem,

i once used to watch sirius but that was about one and a half years a go, then i used a fortec star sat box and a 1.1 triax from hartlepool north east uk, my signal could vary, but it averaged about 55%, some frequencys could be better than others and some worse, i used to see viasat channels, hallmark and a number of others
