My Satellite Setup
4 systems. In Scotland Freesat with Humax Foxsat recorder. In Algarve 1.5 fixed Inv Quad LNB with 3 Pace 2600C1 and 1 Amstrad HD DRX780UK also 80cm dish with Inverto 0.2db monoblock LNB (19.2E/26E) feeding Technomate 5000CI+ usb.

How can I find out the size of my hard disk in my Samsung HD box? TIA
 
Take the top off the box and read the label.
 
That sounds like a good answer. I really should have asked if there was a way of reading this info from the software without taking the box apart.

Sadly, the software is rarely helpful in most boxes. Hence the need to resort to brute force!
 
it could be 500gig with 250gb for recording and the rest used for anytime etc

my amstrad box is one of the early ones with only 160gb for recording but I put in a 640gb western digital av hard disc which works much better.
