Sky box plus Fransat box ..?

My Satellite Setup
80 cm dish + fransat box (just bought) + old sky (cardless) digibox to try to get UK TV + Mac computer
My Location
brussels, belgium
Whereas I have a sky box receiving from ASTRA 2 nicely....

and

I would like to also get the French stations from another dish pointing at Atlantic Bird 3...

and

to this end I have bought a "Fransat" decoder which also comes with an "ulimited" use card...

Using a two-cable-in switch - i.e. one cable coming from the ASTRA dish and another coming from the Atlantic Bird 3 dish - can I configure it so my sky (digi) box shows not only the Sky channels it normally does but also shows the French channels that come from Atlantic Bird 3 dish?


Or is there some diseq setting I need to grapple with to make all this happen..?

No - the Sky box has neither disecq switching nor the correct encryption built in to show Fransat. You will need to use the Fransat box to watch the Froggie programming :)
