Sky box problem

Hi i have a pace sky box ,one of the first sky boxes ,square in shape and i also have the new pace sky box new shape.
The disk runs two boxes but the square box has no Chan 5 or USA chan5 etc ,hwereas the new pace box picks up all the free chanels. We are evn getting ITV on the new box now

I live in Bulgaria and used to get chan 5 on the old box but it rejects the 105 number now saying no signal.
How do i update this box?

Welcome to satsuk,

Five ftv has recently moved to 12.422h 2A South.
Reboot the skybox and all should be ok, he says :D

To receive Five (from 2A South), Fiver, Fiver+1, Five US, and Five US+1 you need a FTV card in the receiver as they are encrypted channels.

Five is available FTA on 2D (10773H) without the need for a card. The other channels are not available in non-encrypted format.

why i am getting the channels off the other newer pace box?
they are both fed from the same dish.

I used to get chan 5 on the old model sky box but not now???
there is not even a 105 in the menu!!!

105 is missing from the menu because the box does not have an FTV card inserted.
 
Does the blue card work in your other box OK?Are you putting hte card in the correct slot - viewing card slot not interactive slot?A sky box booted up without a sky card will not have the "Five" channels loaded up into the EPG.YOu reboot a box by unplugging fvcrom the power, leaving for 30 seconds, and then reapply the power...
