Hello All,

Can anyone help me with my problem.

I live in valencia spain and have a 1.2 meter dish ( with motor)connected to a nanoxxip9600 box.If I scan using the nanoxx box I can see that the box finds itv ,channel 4 ect ( I know the dish is too small for bbc channels).I have then put a coaxal cable from nanoxx to sky+ box.
The error is always no signal on the sky box if coaxal cable is pluged in direct or not.
I have tried the sky box in a different house and it works and the nanoxx box can find the channels so the dish setup must be ok ?
So why will the sky+ box say no signal ?

Thanks for any help

If you are using one cable ,are you sure you are connected to input one at the back of the sky+box ?

Loop through is flaky at the best of times - and doubly so with a Sky box. You are far far better off with a dedicated cable feed to the Sky box.

Do you have a FreesatFromSky or subscription card for the Sky box? i.e. are you looking for the FTA or FTV versions of ITV and Channel 4 on the Sky box? The FTA versions will have exactly the same problems as the BBC channels whereas some of the FTV versions may be receivable with your setup. What regionalised versions of ITV and BBC are listed on the EPG? What versions do you see on the other box?

It does look like your dish needs better alignment, if the receivers work elsewhere. You don't say how big the other dish is though.

Hello All,

Ok , sky box works in other house with much bigger dish, the other box only says itv not which one it is ?

I would just like to know that If I have the sat dish to astra 28.2 and have a universal lnb with one coaxal cable connected to the box (input 1) with a sky card ,that is the correct setup and that if I have the viewing card in the box or not that it should work or show fta channels .

thanks

Michael
