sky card problem

where card was not used since january due motorized dish lnb is down so i cant use now 28 east what it means now?

It means you card has missed its update, you could try emms from peers if you have any or when you sort your dish leave it on a channel and see if any emms come in.
It can take a few days and I find CCcam 2.1.3 works best for this.

now i feel much better i founded out that setting F : user pass 3 0 1 where 1 = accept peer emm doi this update

also founded somewhere in net that sky is doin update each 6 weeks i dont know if this is true and yes i will leave this card there so long while

well i changed LNB to inverto & i can finally move to 28 east but how come is that when card still no entitlements but is decoding "freeview schedule" of some channels?

It will most probably be the free to air channels that don't require the card, the ones used by the UK Freesat service.

Do you subscribe to Sky? If the answer is yes, ring them and tell them you've been working in Australia or some other far flung country for the last two months and when you switched the box on it didn't work. Act dumb and make sure the card is in the original Sky Box. They will send a hit to the card over the air and it should re-activate. Do not tell them you are not in the UK !

It may re-activate in the Dreambox, but i wouldn't risk it, best to do a re-activation in the original box. It should be ok from then on in the Dreambox once reactivated.

if you don't subscribe to Sky you could try asking Sky to send a hit to the card for the free to view channels if your the original card user but i don't know how sucessful you would be in pursuading them.

Ah, just seen your IP Address so what i've just written may be a little difficult. You may need to get somebody to ring from the UK for you
Can you receive the Sky Default transponder on the Skybox ( 11778V 27500 FEC 2/3) or have you had to set it to the one on the south beam?

The south beam transponder to use last time i looked was 12129V 27500 FEC 2/3. You will need to make sure the box is up and running before asking for the hit to be sent.

both freq which u pointed are FTA channels does it mean i can leave on 1 of that 2 channels are get entitlements update?

that freeview channels was on Indian channel COLORS which had freeview option for over day
2nd was on HD promo

still working Adult freeview too
i hope to download these updates betweeen next 14 days i read somewhere that they r sending updates each after 6 weeks.
