Sky default transponder

hi can anybody help me please. living in tenerife and looking for the sky default transponder for my mates sky box ,its showing no signal.
he has a 3 metre dish. there used to be 2 different default transponders we could use. and could you tell me how to enter it with the sky remote.
havent used a sky box in years. thanks.

You can set it as you wish but istr if the box gets the merest sniff of the actual default it will switch back immediately
