Please answer a simple question
Is Sky Digital subcription broadcast on all three Astra's at 28.2 ?

Can I receive Sky (paid not freeview) on Astra 2A or 2B and which beams ? and if I have a paid subscription would any of the BBC channels be available on 2A or 2B?

I am roaming around Europe , I have a 66x80 eliptical dish , and am heading for southern Italy (Bari,Puglia) and just wanna know if I can hope to get any telly?

Ta very much , I know there's loads of sites with footprints and channel info but I just wanna simple answer!!:-snowman

Sky uses 4 satellites (2A, 2B, & 2D plus Eurobird 1.)

Once you get out towards Italy you will lose anything on 2D (BBC / ITV for starters) BBC & ITV are NOT carried on anything apart from 2D

Anything on the southern beams will be fine.

So the all channels broadcast by SKy in their paid fpr services (Sky One , Movies etc etc) are carried on Astra 2A,2B north and south beams?

No - Sky use 2D for a few channels as well. :D
