Sky Digital - Dolby Digital

I have a home cinema audio system and I'm looking to get a Dolby Digital feed from Sky.

Sony have released a digibox (760) with a digital optical audio output which would give me the right connectivity. However, would I also need to upgrade my LNB to the quad type as supplied with the new Sky + system?

Secondly, does anyone know if I need to upgrade my subscription to Sky + in order to get the digital audio feed?

Hi Jon,

If the optical output is available on the Sony standard Digibox then the existing LNB will suffice. At the moment there are not many programmes/channels transmitting the above, but I'm sure it will improve as time goes by.

This standard should be available without Sky+
