Hello,
Can anyone give me some advice about getting sky digital in Portugal. I am a sky subscriber in the UK for the last 4 years and would like to receive sky digital in my villa in portugal WITHOUT paying the Murdoch boys an extra £41 per month for the priviledge.
I thought about getting sky multiroom for an extra £10 pm and just using the card in Portugal, any ideas.

Thanks

You cant because both receivers have to be connected to the SAME operational phone line at all times, and if the callbacks fail you get charged the full amount for both subs.

I thought that was the case. I assume sky viewing cards only work in the receivers for which they are registered. Can I use my current card in a different receiver.

Yes, but you wont get any premium stuff - sports & movies.

Another way round it is to carry the box with the card in it back and forwards between UK and Portugal
