Hi,

Sorry for a probably very basic question, but I'm absolutely new to this and would appreciate an expert advice very much.

I have a standard sky+ box with a dish, installed in the UK.

Am I able to receive any of the channels listed below with my sky+ box/dish, without moving the dish? If not, what equipment do I need to receive these channels and how?

Many thanks for your help in advance.

You cannot get any of them on a standard Sky dish :D

Quite a few of those providers are broadcasting on birds not available in Europe. However the stuff on 13E is easily and cheaply available - you could get the dish and receiver for around £100 plus fitting if you used cheap stuff - perfectly adequate for this requirement.

No, not a single one.

You can only pick up Channels from Astra 2/Eurobird 1 at 28.2/28.5E

Thanks very much for your answers.

So I could pick up 13E. Any ideas about suitable equipment? Will any dish/receiver go or should I aim for specific specs?

In London, as long as you have clear line of sight, a dish identical to your Sky dish would be fine.

Or use a 60cm (ish) generic dish and bog standard Universal LNB.

For the FTA stuff, any generic DVB S Satellite receiver (not a Sky box!!) would do fine: Cheapies (full kits, often) from all sorts of places these days.

Scrambled stuff is more problematic - you'd need capable equipment and a relevant Subscription.

Yes, a MK4 zone 1 Sky minidish is perfectly adequate for Hotbird in the London area. Som channels can also be received with a Sky digibox at a push, but a generic FTA receiver is the best option. A TM5200 or similar would suit.
