Sky Gnome problem

I received my sky gnome 2 weeks ago and the setup went fine and its been working faultlessly for 2 weeks until tonight !! When i start up the gnome it will play the sound for the channel that is currently showing on the digibox but will not change channels, After about 2 mins the gnome starts making a hissing sound then the only way i can get sound back is to unplug the base unit for 10 secs and plug it in again! It then play the sound again of the currently showing channel on the digibox but still no channel change and 2 mins later the hissing comes back.

I've tried unplugging the datalink and going thru all the initial setup again but no luck just the same as above all the time. Oh also no channel data is being shown in the display.

Anybody got any suggestions to bring the poor little gnome back to life again ?

Haven't seen that happen on the two I've setup Chris, sounds like it may be one to send back.
 
Sounds like an exorcism is required
 
Well i've just tried the gnome again and he's now working fine.... must have been sleeping or fishing.
 
LOL, Sky had probably snuck in a software update. :)
