sky hd + and talktalk broadband with belkin router

sky hd box has erthernet con and i have talktalkbroadband with belkin router plug in lead from router to sky box ,, press sky remote screen come up network then press green button to manual con set up shown ip adress and subnet and gateway and dns then save :confused: doe anybody khown this will work :-deadhorse:-deadhorse ,,,,,,:-Welcome1 to talk about
 
As far as I am aware the ethernet connection is currently disabled on all HD boxes that have it fitted
