Hi Guys,

What are all these connections for on the back of sky hd box?

ethernet

sata

rs232

usb2

do they have any practical appliacions right now to the user? or just futue stuff?

Thanks
Tom

My understanding is that Ethernet will be for future use, video on demand, like BT have.

Sata, probably never gonna be enabled, Sky like to flog boxes with more storage as "New" products.

RS232, a bit dated for todays market.

USB is used by manufacturing for Programming and Testing, not enabled for the End User.

Which is just another reason to have a Dreambox, as if there wern`t enough already :D

thanks for the info.

yes dreambox, what a dream but pity we cant use them with a sky card. or can you?
