Hi guys,
moving to SW France soon, have treated myself to a new ch master 90cm dish, hope this is big enough:) (Charente, about 40 mins left of Limoges if you look on a map)
I will need a freesat card,is it just a matter of ordering one shortly before we go?,and will this give a good range of channels, does it need to be activated in UK first?
Thanks-PP

Hi mate, the 90cm should be more than adequate, in fact you can probably pull in Astra 19.2 and Hotbird off of a side bracket as well. :)

I've seen a couple of online shops selling a digibox and Freesat card for £99, you should be able to activate it when you get there, but you may as well do it from the UK while you are still here. :)

Cheers Rolfie,
will be taking existing digibox so will play it safe and get the card activated here first.
Also got to find room on the lorry for the 1.2 ch master in the garden:)-PP

1.2m in a lorry?

Pfah.

I strapped a 1.8m to the roof of my car and took it down to Provence a few years ago.

Some folks have it easy...
