I have noticed that some NDS channels are unscrambled today on Sky Italia.


Discovery, Natatioal geo, Nickelodeon, Fox (Eng and Ita) and quite a few more! Enjoy while it lasts! (I presume they are just tormenting us for a while).

The channels you mention have never been NDS, only the sport and movie channels are NDS.
But not for much longer I think !

Stations often go clear for a day or so when the encryption changes. Maybe these are the next batch of channel to disappear behind NDS??

Yes, I think you're right. They've been open since the last S2 hack. I watch Discovery on Italia every day!

I wonder if there is some legal or other non-technical reason why they haven't gone NDS yet. Maybe something to do with existing provisions or contracts or something. Just a guess, but it seems strange that they remain open after most other stuff has gone ND$.

May be they are just waiting for delivery of a new set of NDS encoders.

As you know i'm new to all this. My receiver shows that they are NDS and i couldn't receive them previously. But i'll watch em while i can .

They're dual encrypted, but it's the S2 bit that obviously still interests us ATM.
