Hi,
Just looking on internet and have seen prepaid sky italy 6 months card for around £100 for a sd card not hd.
Is this correct as normally these cards are usually around £1200 is it an old encryption card that only works in certain boxes? as i would be using a dm 500.

Well do you have a link of some sort (disabled it in the normal way, of course)?

After a bit more fishing they seem to be nds2 cards is this a problem and will they work in a dreambox?
 
As far as i know they work fine with OSCAM, however updating the card may be the issue that you may need a Sky Italia receiver for. Just look at ebay.it. Sky Italia receivers usually go for around £35 to £50 inc postage to the UK.

Just make sure the seller posts to the UK before bidding.

Thanks nano so no issue with cards being nds2 as i thought all sky italy where nds3 not sure though?
As you say if needs updating will buy a sky italy box is there any news on maybe nds2 not being used anymore as in only being nds3?

I asked the seller if the CAID was 0919, 093B or 09CD (to determine the card version).

His reply was "I not understand".

Perhaps someone can tell us, what version these pre-paid cards are?

hi m8,i´m not sure but what strikes me , is the sell of the card without the box !!! normaly all italian subs comes paired (card/box) ,i would say its a mixed up bunch of cards ..i would ask the seller to post front/back fotos of the cards including the 4/5 first digits to determin the version,,may be they are special for Italian DTT ???in that case the version must be 09CD
