I've recently been made aware that someone I know in the uk has a full sly italia sub. He wants me to set him up with a DM***
I know oscam is my only option at the min but what I'm concerned about is all the old reports of melting the cards in the internal reader.
Am I right in thinking that it was only ever caid0919 that has the problem and caid093b was always ok?
With that in mind what colour was the 919 card?

andel, oscam should be working for both thr 919 and 93b. You know the problem is ...for how long? The internal readers in the 800 certainly heats up the cards, perticularly if an internal hdd is installed. The external card readers are the best but I think only the smargo works with the italian cards (not 100% sure) and oscam??? Again, no one can say how long that will work and when the countermeasures will be applied in the UK and DE. It's a gamble alright... your call!
 
yes but I seem to remember people having heat issues with just eg DM500 (i've got a spare one I was going to lend) does that ring any bells or am i dreaming it?

I'd still like to know it it was just 919 cards effected?

P.s You can use the omnikey with oscam and Sly IT card now too
