Sky Italia - UK commentry

Forgive me if this is mentioned elsewhere....

Out pub has Sky Italia (Fire at will) but we've now lost the English commentry...Is this available on a separate audio feed or do I have to now Time shift Radio 5 Live via my PC to get commentry?

I have the software to time shift, I just wonderd if there is a way to get English commentry back?
 
Its not just you - Ive seen a couple of comments in the last few days from folks saying they have lost the English on SI games. Its quite possible its been deliberately discontinued specifically because of the number of cards in the UK.
 
on the chamipons league games, the united game just had stadium noise last night so not sure if this was usual or not.

was quite refreshing as other channels had usual gray waffle
 
just checked my sky italia and im still in english!!(man utd v rangers re play)

lol, mine has gone off! just called a lad i know who seems to know alot about sat systems he says they are pulling the english coms off sky italia!
 
Champions League, maybe it's only off on EPL

You could see it had to be too good to be true. Sky put UK matches on one of their platforms to address the 'grey market' and circumnavigate broadcast agreements - and in English, now they've got their subscriptions they're pulling the English commentary. Either that or they're sticking two fingers up to the 50k or so English expats in Italy.

People with honest subscriptions are losing out because of this.
 
yes I wonder if nova will be next as they have english audio and that funny viewing is only licensed in greece scrolling message
 
It isn't Murdick owned though. They can't take all the English, can they?
 
They probably can, or at least request that it is removed.
 
But I'm sure I read a news story that the English commentary is part of the package each broadcaster gets from the FA
 
It may well be, but if they feel that it is being abused and as Sky provide it, they can probably get around that.
 
this was always going to happen, ive heard a few people saying its terrible i forked out a grand for the sub,

this is an italian sub!! not meant to be in english, its the risk you take, from what ive heard in the canary islands d+, sky italia are going to be clamping down BIG time!!
 
also experiencing loss of english commentary..is there any way round this... just as annoying i am getting picture break up at crucial parts of the game... goes to black screen when there is goal mouth action...is this just me???
