Sky Italia - UK commentry

I found a way to get a UK commentry It's not the best and is a bit Heath-Robinson, but here goes...

1 down load a piece of software called "RadioDelay" - It's Freeware on Softpedia
_www.softpedia.com/get/Multimedia/Audio/Other-AUDIO-Tools/Radiodelay.shtml

2. install it on a PC/Laptop

3, Take the Audio from a Radio Tuner / UK Sky Box into the Mic In on the PC

4, Take the headphone out into an Amp

5, Run RadioDelay, put tuner on 5 live or Sky UK on ch.0105

6, Show picture off SI

7, set delay bar on radio delay to approx 6 seconds (watch and tweek to get exact)

All you neet to buy are 2x 3.5mm Jack to Phono leads

We had an issue with the audio from Sky UK having too much gain, we turned it down on the Sky box and also tweeked the PC audio settings, now it's fine!

Hope his helps guys!

Stops the illegal viewing, I'm happy.
The use within the EU of a legimately purchased European service is not illegal - to suggest that it is so is offensive, so please do not make such statements. What might well be illegal is the restrictve practices being attempted by bskyb to inhibit the operation of the EU free trade zone.

People with honest subscriptions are losing out because of this.
There is nothing dishonest about any package legimately purchased within the EU - please stop suggesting that people who have made such purchases are being dishonest when they are not. Also the purchase of a package from another EU state does not cause persons purcahsing in another state any disadvantage.

In many ways this is no different to times past in relation to motor cars. For many years the price of a given car in the UK was far higher than the cost of buying the same right hand drive car in mainland Europe and then importing it in to the UK. Wake up - the UK has always been "stuffed over" paying higher prices for everything than else where - the situation with the Sky satellite services is no different. Public out-cry and EU law eventually sorted out the UK surcharge on motor cars... if there's justice and a level playing field the same will happen with satellite services.

Sorry, but this is a well worn path.

If the use contravenes the relevant Terms & Conditions then that may well be contrary to Civil Law. The situation is not as clear cut as either you or the previous poster (or the rest of us, frankly!) might wish it to be.

And this becomes further complicated when the audience is a "public" one as opposed to "family".

It's satisfying to knock BSkyB, of course, but they are not the only Platform trying to protect their own interests.

But you won't find many who do other than deplore the lack of freedom of choice in the EU as regards Satellite TV ................

May I suggest you look at some other Threads in this Football & The Law Forum if you want a range of opinions on this?

Edit: I see you have now made a further Post which makes use of "dishonest" as opposed to "illegal", but I propose to leave my quote of your original version, as it is pertinent.

Please do not take the thread down the whats legal or not discussion route - this is for the discussion of Sky Italia English audio or lack thereof ONLY. If you want to discuss the legalities then find one of the other threads and discuss it there.

As the boss said I'm not going to down the legality route here.

Just read Tivu's post and that makes a lot of it clear.

So is the lack of English commentary just for PL matches?

Do you think if courts rule in favour of Sky then we'll see the return of english commentary?

Hopefully things are resolved in time for the start of next season and Sky Italia will make english audio available again.

Interesting question, but with the speed of the European court, seeing a verdict may not be in my lifetime. :-lmao
