Since last week Sky News International is broadcasting without the 16:9-flag on the Astra 1 (19.2E). The picture is all squeezed and it has to be stretched manually. It's quite annoying. Are they asleep at the Sky technical distribution center?

They switched to a new encoder and didn't set the flag. They did increase the res a lot though.

Strangely Sky News US has just shown up on 24.5w replacing the old NBA HD channel.

Since a couple of days the 16:9-flag is back on!

Annoyingly a lot of Balkan channels don't set the 16/9 flag on. Very annoying and amateurish.
