sky on motorised dish

just wondering if i would be able to use sky on a motorised system with my sky digibox looped through my motorised reciver,
i am doing it at the moment with a fta card, but wonder if i had a paid subscription if i would need dish pointing at sky at all times for code changes, anybody tried this?
at the moment it works ok, had dish off sky a few days once and it went off, but updated itself after a hour or so

Yes mate did it a year or so ago, with a multi A/B switch, was a bummer when i wanted to watch footie and didn`t update card till half-time, anyway Dumped subscription (wasn`t mine anyway) and rupert dont need my hard earned ?and can see all and more for FREE HE HE.
